BIG life update for the Murphy family… (no, we’re not pregnant)…

I recently accepted a position at Grace Fellowship Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. I’ll be a teaching pastor and also oversee their family ministries.

This is a big move for us. We’ve been at Pine Cove for almost 7 years (11 summers counting my summer staff days). God has used this place to shape both my life and Katie’s in a major way, and we are so thankful. In a lot of ways, we feel like we grew up here. From learning how to lead and do ministry, to learning about marriage and parenthood, God has used this place to be a really significant part of our lives.

We’re sad to leave but excited for what God has in store. We definitely sense His leading in this.

We will be moving in two weeks. Our objectives until then are to spend time with friends and family and eat as much Tex-Mex as possible. Keep us in your prayers as we transition soon and join what God is doing in J City!
